There are a number of resources out there that you can use to help you learn more about native plants. You can support organizations that help promote conservation by joining. Many of these organizations help educate the public about conservation and the importance of protecting our natural world.
One such program that is instrumental in our own state of Minnesota is the Lawn to Legumes program. This program is a pollinators grant program that reimburses those who want to turn part of their lawn into a native planting.
This program is a collaboration between Blue Thumb and the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources. Blue Thumb is a nonprofit involved with planting for clean water using native plants.

Minnesota Wildflowers ~ Invaluable source for native plants for you to explore. Includes invasive species to help you identify those as well.
